Sleep Paralysis - My Experience

It was on August 2007, Someday i dont remember which day but i was sleeping in the afternoon on bed. Many thoughts were already running in my mind since i am a worst day dreamer even while i was asleep. I had a very weird feeling in my brain. When i woke up i felt very weak and i was unable to move my body not even my hands or head. It felt strange because i knew that my mom was just out of my room in kitchen so i thought of shouting her name and calling her for help but what can be worst ? I couldnt even shout or even speak anything. Thats where i got hell scared and just jerked off and i was able to wake up. That day i neglected the strange thing that heppened to me in the afternoon after sleeping.

15 days later that something happened to me again. But this time it was different, in the way it was happening to me before me sleeping. That night i felt very sleepy but i could feel numbness. My hands and legs were feeling numb and i thought may be i m getting a panick attack but as i felt very sleepy i neglected it and tried to go back to sleep. But i couldnt sleep because whenever i tried i used to get in the sleep paralysis mode and i was not able to move even my hand and head again. Thats where i just jumped off my bed and woke up and said myself that i cannot sleep tonight anymore. I got online on yahoo messenger and started talking in rooms the whole night. I was wide awake that night and did not even get a one minutes nap because of that strange thing.

That morning my mom woke up and i was still in my room on the computer talking to some new friends that i made by talking the whole night. I told her what happened to me in previous month and she was not shocked by that but said that its pretty natural and it happened to her either. Fortunately, that evening i had an appointment with my pschyciatrist and i had to go to him to tell him my condition. After i finished telling him my health status before leaving i told him about this new strange thing that i have been experiencing since months. He said that its called "sleep paralysis" and thats common and there is nothing harm in it. I was relaxed but when i came home i got on internet and searched for sleep paralysis in wikipedia.org and thats where i got to know that it was some kind of a side effect of the medicines that my pschyciatrist had prescribed me for my panic attacks.
